Excitebike is a motorcycle racing game. However, it is not moto grand prix style racing. Excitebike is motocross racing. The game was designed by Nintendo. The designers were Shigeru Miyamoto and Toshihiko Nakago.

The game was displayed at Famicom in Japan in 1984. Later on in 1985 it was released as a launch title for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This was the first of a few games to come within Nintendo’s series of Excite games. Excitebike 64 was the next game in the series to be released. Other games in the series are as follows:
·         Excite Truck
·         Excitebots: Trick Racing
·         Excitebike: World Rally
·        Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium (only in Japan)

In the Nintendo eShop you could own a copy of Excitebike for the low price of $5.99. However, for a little while in 2011 it was actually free on the Nintendo eShop. In Excitebike players have the ability to make their own tracks if they want a new track to play. Even though you have the ability to make your own tracks there is no way to save them.

Frogger

http://www.simplyeighties.com/resources/Frogger_1.pngFrogger was an arcade game. It was designed by Konami in 1981. Konami licensed the game to Sega-Gremlin so they could distribute the game to North Aermica. The objective of the game is to direct the frogs across the road so that they would arrive home safely. There is not only one direction in which you can take the frog across. Also there are moving cars and logs that you need to be aware of in order to get the frog home safely. Frogger was coin operated arcade game. Even though it was an arcade game it had more than one central processing unit in order to power the game. There was 20 million copies of the game sold by 2005. However only 5 million copies were sold in the United States of America. Frogger was eventually ported to other systems so that people could play the game at home. Just to name a few of the systems that were included the Commodore 64, Atari 2600, PlayStation, Game Boy, Xbox 360, and mobile phones.
