Introduction

I am currently a student. I am studying for my degree in tourism management as well as a degree in visual and game programming. I love working with people.

When the ski season rolls around I will go snowboarding from time to time. I used to ski as well. I started snowboarding in high school and I had learned to ski when I was in elementary school.

I have a passion for cars. I recently bought my first car which is an older Volkswagen Jetta. I have started learning more about how to fix and upgrade certain parts of my car. I have learned how to replace the headlight housings and installed 6000K HID bulbs as well as the 35W ballasts.

I also enjoy building and fixing computers. I also build systems for friends and family. I learned how to build and fix computers by reading about it and watching videos. I own a store on Amazon.ca selling various computer parts and other electronics.

During my free time I enjoy gaming with friends. I was admin in a couple different communities as well as being staff in another. Then almost a couple years ago my friends and I decided to start our own community after dealing with too much drama and restrictions in the ones that we have been in. We wanted to have a gaming community where people can come and game without any drama and restrictions because gaming is all about having fun. I have custom coded some of the servers for the community as well as the website. I learned how to code on my own up until last year when I started taking classes about coding.

I also used to game competitively, but that was about seven years ago. I played Counter-Strike 1.6 competitively. My favourite game genres are first person shooters, survival, and racing games. However, I do like games where I can build as well. I do not have a favourite all time game. My current favourite games are H1Z1 and The Crew with the Wild Run expansion. I was also a beta tester for certain games.

I would like to work as a designer or programmer in the game industry. This is because I like to code and design my own game servers. However, this may change after I finish my degree. I would like to work on survival games, first person shooters, and racing games since they are my favourite genres to play.

I started building my own desktop in 2010 and been slowly upgrading and working on it to get it to where it is today. My original system was a simple system that only had a processor, motherboard, hard drive, power supply, case, and had Windows 7. Then one of my friends said that they had two AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB video cards for sale for $300. At the time just one AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB video card was selling for $300 in stores. So I decided that I would get them and then I had to get a bigger power supply to power the two cards. A year later I upgraded the processor and the motherboard. Now I upgrade my computer parts when they are too outdated and my computer starts to slow down. So that's how I started building my own computer.
